Healthy relationships allow each individual to be responsible for their "personal energetic space". When we accept others exactly for who they are...we trust that they know what is best for themselves. We validate them and give them "energetic space".
Sometimes when a person we care about pulls away from us, we react by moving our energy into "their energetic space" to "hold on", or "control" the changing situation. Have you noticed this does not really work, or help the relationship? |

You are an eternal Spirit! Even though your body is extraordinary...you
are not your body. Our Spirit created every aspect and vibration of our
body so our Spirit can live within our body - in harmony. Here is where
it gets complicated. Only the vibration of our Spirit is meant for our
body, yet most of us have "taken on" so much energy of family and
friends (even the burdens of the entire world) that we cannot even find
ourselves - often there is very little peace and harmony within. Most of
us take on other people's energy from a place of love and caring, some
from guilt and control. Whatever the reason...when we take on pain and
suffering of others we attempt to process it as our own, yet since it's
not compatible with our body it disturbs us. When we take on the energy
of others it may become so disturbing to our body that we can find
ourselves feeling confused and isolated to the point of depression, even
to the extreme of suicidal thoughts and action. You can free yourself
from this burden. We may think we are helping, yet its as if we entered a
"Soul Contract" that says, "Yes, you can heal me and fix my problems,
so I don't have to be responsible for myself and "fix" my own life." Two
things happen right away...we end up feeling burdened, and the person
you tried to "heal" recreates another situation with the exact same
lesson because the energy that you "took on" and tried to "fix" was
meant for the evolution of their body and soul, not yours. The good news
is...we can learn to love and care for others without processing their
lessons and energy. When we stop trying to process the lessons of
others, we feel better and they learn their soul's lesson for
themselves. Letting others know that you believe in how capable they are
and that you have faith in them is so much more validating. Miracles
happen when you let go and trust the Spirit of others to heal
themselves.

Grounding is an ancient technique used in meditation traditions around the world. Grounding will focus you and allow you to feel stabilized. It is simple to do too! Sit with your feet flat on the floor and your hands separated in your lap. Take a deep breath in and close your eyes. Focus your attention on your first chakra, (about 4 inches below your navel). Visualize a grounding cord, a stream of energy, flowing down from your first chakra, through your chair and through the concrete foundation to the beginning layers of the earth. Now allow your grounding cord to continue to flow through the many layers of the earth to the center of the earth and become securely connected. (Similar to the connection cords in the Avatar movie). You can also allow energy that is disturbing you, to flow down your grounding at anytime. Breathe, relax, let go of any effort and ground.

The sacred Om Mantra (or Aum) has been handed down to us by the Himalayan sages. It is a symbol for the most sacred, the source of all being. The vibration of Om exists within every form of energy - it is the sound vibration of the "One" energy in all things. ‘OM’ is the root for...Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent Everything is made up of energy and the sound of Om contains all sounds. Through chanting Om we can instantly receive and send the vibrational energy of anything we put our attention on. |

Some people resemble desert grass in springtime; they flourish overnight. Mozart composed his first symphony when he was 8 years old.
However, many people require years and years of preparation before they tap their potential. Leonardo da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa when he was 50 years old. These types of people can be likened to the moso Chinese bamboo plant.
You can take a bamboo seed and plant it in the ground, water and nurture the seed for an entire year and only see a single sprout.
During the second, third and fourth year you care for the bamboo in the same way. |

As we open up to the unique vibration of our Spirit we begin to allow the energies of peace, goodness, beauty and love to enter into our bodies and lives. Yet, we often feel blocked from receiving these positive energies because we feel "undeserving". Of course we are deserving, yet be believed a lie about ourselves. Why would we do that?
As a way to protect ourselves from "recreating" past hurt and challenges, we store energetic blocks or "pain pictures" in our chakras to help us remember the lessons that caused us great pain. |

There is something so very magical inside everyone...something so powerful and beautiful. We already have all the resources we need within us! Simply believe in our own unique Spirit within and allow love and consciousness to grow!

Another story when I was 19 and lived in a Teepee.... When I was going through a depression and felt lost - I prayed constantly. To my amazement...one prayer was answered instantly. I was on the ground with my body bent over and my face buried in the floor praying with all my heart for guidance - for direction. Then I heard a very clear, loud voice in my head say, "Penny, what do you believe in? I jolted my head and body up and said loudly, "I believe in love and loving one another". |
